One Third of 65-74-year-olds Will Be in the Labor Force in 2022

"The [labor force] participation rate for people ages 65 to 74 years was 20.4% in 2002 and rose to 26.8% in 2012. BLS projects the rate for this age group to continue increasing, to 31.9% in 2022," according to a 2014 Bureau of Labor Statistics report.
