Three Fourths of Mid-life and Older Adults Engage in Charitable Giving
Among mid-life and older adults, the proportion who report that they engage in charitable giving is similar across generations. 72% of Boomers (age 48-66) report such giving, compared to 75% of Gen X (age 31-47), and 77% of "Silent" generation (age 76-83), according to a 2013 AARP report.
