Mature Workers and Workforce Development
Barbara Hoenig is a full-time consultant to CVS Caremark on Mature Workers and Workforce Development. She brings over twenty five years experience in the field of aging, health and workforce development. As CVS’ lead on mature workers, she develops strategic alliances between CVS, the public workforce system, policy makers, academic, national and community-based organizations.
Barbara serves in a number of national leadership roles. She is on the Business Forum Leadership Council of the American Society on Aging and co-chaired its 2011 National Summit on Women 50+. She serves on NCOA’s National Leadership Network and chaired NCOA’s MaturityWorks Alliance. She represents CVS at Generations United, the Boston College Sloan Center on Aging & Work Strategy Council, the University of Kentucky Institute for Workforce Innovation Business Roundtable and serves on The Transition Network Board. Her recognitions and awards include the CVS Award for Outstanding Service.
Barbara has extensive non-profit work history and has directed community and national programs across the country for NCOA, CAEL, Jewish Federations of North America and the National Senior Citizens Law Center.
