Campus Activities Board: A spring events preview

Run by students and overseen by the Division of Student Affairs, the Campus Activities Board (CAB) coordinates the planning and scheduling of concerts, homecoming dances, trivia nights, pub series, and other campus-wide events. CAB also organizes off-campus trips to destinations including downtown Boston, where some 300 students took a much-needed break from pre-exam stress in December for an ice-skating excursion on the Boston Common Frog Pond.

Coming up on the CAB calendar for spring semester:

  • Marshmello, the masked electronic dance music producer and DJ, headlines CAB’s first springtime event, “Plexapalooza,” at the Flynn Recreation Center on February 4. (Tickets go on sale Sunday, January 29 at 11:00 a.m. on the Robsham Theater website.)
  • Ski trip to Pat’s Peak in Henniker, NH, Feb. 11
  • An outing to Boda Borg Boston, a real-world gaming environment, where small groups of players pursue a series of challenges, or “quests.” Date TBD.
