Women's Ultimate Frisbee

The Boston College Women’s Club Ultimate Frisbee Team, better known as The Flix, was founded in 2006 and has grown tremendously in both size and skill level since. They compete as part of USA Ultimate. Most recently, The Flix have placed highly within the regional level, beating Northeastern and coming in 5th overall which has qualified them to play at higher level tournaments not just in the northeast, but also across the country. This has included Terminus in Georgia as well as Centex in Texas. The team prides themselves on team unity and inclusion, so the team as a whole makes no cuts and instead fosters an A and B team. Both compete regularly in competitive tournaments. Practices are held two-three times a week throughout the year with tournaments on the weekends, especially during the spring which is the main tournament season. Most of the members on the team never played Ultimate before entering college, so no prior experience is necessary. All that’s needed is a desire to learn, work, hard, and have fun!
