Chevron Corp. CEO David J. O'Reilly at Chief Executives' Club of Boston on May 7

CHESTNUT HILL, MA (4-29-09) – David J. O'Reilly, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Chevron Corporation, the nation's second-largest petroleum company and a world leader in developing new sources of energy, will be the guest speaker at the Boston College's Chief Executives' Club of Boston luncheon on Thursday, May 7 at the Boston Harbor Hotel's Wharf Room. The luncheon will begin at noon with Mr. O'Reilly’s remarks at 1 p.m.

With annual revenues in excess of $220 billion and 62,000 world-wide employees, Chevron is the sixth-largest corporation in the world.

In his remarks to the Chief Executives' Club of Boston, Mr. O'Reilly will offer a "real-world" analysis of today's complex energy challenges, including the role of alternative energy sources such as wind, solar and biofuels.  He will also be prepared to comment on the safety of petroleum and liquid natural gas transportation in our world's volatile political climate.
