Genzyme President and CEO Henri TermeerVisits the 'Manager's Studio' at BC's Carroll School

Henri TermeerCHESTNUT HILL, MA (September 30, 2009) – Genzyme President and CEO Henri Termeer will be the featured guest of the Manager’s Studio program today at the Carroll School of Management at Boston College.

Modeled after the Bravo network’s "Inside the Actor's Studio," this interview series with corporate chiefs is intended to give BC students a chance to look beyond the balance sheet and into the day-to-day decision-making – usually professional, sometimes personal – of American business leaders.

The chief executives of some of America’s leading companies have taken a seat next to Senior Lecturer in Management Bob Radin to discuss their careers and engage in a Q&A with students and faculty as part of this quarterly program.

"The Genzyme story is compelling," said Radin. "In Henri Termeer, we have a CEO who has been running the organization for 23 years and has grown the company from a modest entrepreneurial venture to one of the world’s leading biotechnology firms. The Manager’s Studio allows our students to learn from Mr. Termeer’s experience and engage in a dialogue with one of our nation’s most successful business leaders."
