Psychoanalytic Studies

office of international programs

Studying abroad for students pursuing the minor in Psychoanalytic Studies represents an important opportunity to study different approaches to themes and practices in the field, and to reflect on the relationship of those themes to a new intellectual context.  Courses on basic concepts in psychoanalysis, psychoanalytic interpretation of texts, forms of culture and social practices promise to enrich and enhance the liberal arts experience that Boston College seeks for its students.  The faculty teaching in Psychoanalytic Studies joins the Office of International Programs in encouraging its undergraduate students to spend at least one semester of study abroad.
