Role in Office
Sara Brown joined the Office of International Programs in 2017 and works with students who are interested in studying in Austria, Eastern Europe, Germany, Ireland, Oceania, and Russia.
Sara earned a Masters in Education with a concentration in Higher Education Administration from UMass Amherst. While earning her Bachelor’s degree in English Literature, Sara studied at the University College Cork for a year.
Most recently, Sara worked at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine as an Administrative Analyst in the Office of Assessment & Evaluation. Her experience in International Education began at Purchase College, SUNY where she served as the Education Abroad Coordinator for three years; and subsequently, at UMass Boston in a similar role.
Areas of Interest
Her professional interests include working with underrepresented students, engaging in topics related to social justice and cultural awareness, and helping students to achieve personal growth and self-efficacy through international experiences.
