Boston College ACC Student Advocacy Trip 2019

During the ACC Student Advocacy Trip to Washington DC, a group of students from each ACC school thanks members of Congress for their support of student financial aid and undergraduate research funding and advocates for future funding. This year, BC students met with Congressman Stephen Lynch and Senator Edward Markey.  In addition, students met with Josh Delaney, Senator Elizabeth Warren's Legislative Director and Chief Education Policy Advisor, Claire Viall, Professional Staff to the House Committee on Education and Labor, Chaired by Congressman Bobby Scott (D-VA, BC Law '73) and met with principals at Cassidy & Associates, BC's Government Relations firm in DC that assists the University with federal relations matters.
