Hometown: Mountainside, New Jersey
Path to my major: I entered Boston College as a Chemistry major, changed to Psychology first semester of my freshman year, changed to Communications and Marketing the second semester of my freshman year, changed to English during the beginning of my Sophomore year and then finalized my major with Economics shortly after my change to an English major
Favorite part of Endeavor: My favorite part of Endeavor was the career clusters in which we learned about different job fields, how each alumni ended up in their current position, and how your major doesn't define you after college.
Alaina Jennings '18
Hometown: Wilbraham, MA
Path to my major: I was Marketing at Villanova University's School of Business, then Political Science when I transferred to BC, then Communication, and now Economics as I have settled on pursuing a career in my true passion(s) of Finance/Accounting.
Favorite part of Endeavor: I really enjoyed the Career Clusters because I was able to gain information and insight from people actually in the industries I was passionate about. I also enjoyed the Networking Event because it pushed me out of my comfort zone. As a naturally introverted person, it was very important to me to learn how to talk to colleagues and alumni and perhaps more importantly, to learn how to ask questions and form relationships with them. The Networking Event was a fantastic event because it was a casual setting where I was able to engage with people who were invested in helping me and seeing me succeed due to our BC connection.

At BC, I enjoy being a part of different academic and social clubs such as the Student Admissions Program, Learning To Serve, the Consulting Club and the BC Symphonic Band.
Favorite part of Endeavor: As a participant of Endeavor, I very much enjoyed listening to the different panels of BC alumni and learning of the endless possibilities available to all students of a Liberal Arts education. This specific opportunity helped guide me towards realizing what I may want to do in the future. I am very much looking forward to being a part of the Endeavor Program again and helping students to get as much out of it as I was able to!
