Discover how your interests and skills can lay a foundation for your future.

Why Endeavor?

Endeavor is designed to help students pursuing a degree in the liberal arts gain greater clarity about their career options and the skills they are obtaining through their BC education.  The program will connect students with alumni who will share how a Boston College liberal arts education prepared them for their career paths, as well as guide students in better articulating their accomplishments and skills.

Why should Sophomores with a major in the liberal arts attend?

Sophomores are in the ideal position to benefit from this program.  Familiar with the reflection that is part of Boston College’s Jesuit, Catholic tradition, BC sophomores have developed a foundation from which they can engage in meaningful and productive conversations about important topics such as career discernment, choosing a major, and exploring internship possibilities. These key elements, part of the cornerstone of a Boston College education, are essential to students as they pursue meaningful personal and professional lives.

"I loved how Endeavor informed us about countless career opportunities and how it also taught us various helpful skills such as how to work a room and use our career search "toolkit."  The Career Center staff and the alumni were also extremely warmhearted and helpful.  I feel inspired and so much better prepared to explore career options and make plans for my time after BC, and I am very grateful for that!... I look forward to stopping by the Career Center soon to continue exploring career opportunities!” — January 2016 participant
