I have served as the Assistant Director of the Thea Bowman AHANA and Intercultural Center beginning in 1985. In this capacity, I am a counselor to an assigned group of students and coordinator of the Ethnic Heritage Months, Benjamin Elijah Mays Mentoring Program, Nursing Outreach, and Spiritual Engagement and Outreach Initiative.

I have a strong interest and devotion to the field of ministry, and a proven record of studies and work in the field.  Currently, I am pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree with a specialization in Ministry in Complex Urban Settings. On campus, I am actively involved with the Black Campus Ministry and the Organization of Latin American Affairs, among other student clubs and organizations in addition to university committees such as the Archbishop Oscar Romero Scholarship Committee. I embrace that students are leaders,  coordinate and present workshops on leadership to various student groups. Off campus, I am  a member of the New England Association of Educational Opportunity Program Personnel (NEAEOPP) and the Association of Jesuit Colleges & Universities.

Prior to my  arrival at Boston College, I held various positions related to education, ministry and public service. Among other posts, I have served as a Teaching Assistant at the Center for Urban Ministerial Education/GCTS, a Program Coordinator and a Bilingual Educational Counselor for the Hispanic Office of Planning & Evaluation.
