Molly Holden
Undergraduate Research Assistant

Molly Holden is a senior at Boston College majoring in Theology and minoring in the Faith, Peace and Justice program. Molly first discovered her love for service in high school. At Boston College Molly moved her passion to serve into the classroom by studying theology and the intersection between theological values, ethics and human rights. Molly worked for the Archdiocese of Chicago’s Office for Peace and Justice; coordinating youth programs and community outreach events. Molly spent her junior year studying abroad in Arusha, Tanzania studying peace and conflict resolution in an East African context. After graduation, Molly hopes to serve with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps and pursue a career in public health.

Christian Vasquez
Undergraduate Research Assistant

Christian Vasquez is a senior majoring in Psychology at Boston College. He was born in Boston and raised in Guatemala City, where he developed interest in helping those in need after experiencing poverty, exploitation, corruption and violence among Guatemalan citizens. He is the third generation of a family affected by the civil war in Guatemala and is inspired in continuing studying about his roots and to contribute in any way possible to Guatemala and its people. Christian has been an active member of Campus Ministry and Mission and Ministry at Boston College where he is learning more about peace and justice according to the Jesuit tradition. After graduation Christian hopes to continue his studies at Boston College in a Master's program and seek a career where he can be involved with United States-Guatemala relations.
