A sense of community that seeps into every aspect of campus life. It is found in the traditions where everyone, from freshmen to seniors, shows up, and in the people who take the time to say hi as they walk across campus. It is a professor from semesters ago still recognizing me and wanting to grab coffee just to catch up. BC has always made me feel seen and supported by the people around me. I chose to attend Boston College because it provided the perfect middle ground. It was just the right size, was close to Boston, had STEM resources with the characteristics of a liberal arts college, and had a very strong alumni network. I was also drawn to the strong sports culture, beautiful campus, and vibrant residential life. I remember when I toured BC, it really felt like a place I could call home.
