Tuition & Registration
Tuition rates and fees for summer courses are available on the Student Services website.
The pre-registration request period is closed and Student Services has processed all pre-registration requests in the order in which they were received during the pre-registration period.
Please Note: Pre-registration requests were subject to course availability and therefore, not guaranteed.
Summer registration is now officially open via EagleApps. Students can log in to register for summer courses, view their account to confirm the status of their course registration, and to make necessary changes (i.e., add/drop). Once enrolled, tuition charges for summer will be posted to your Agora account on about May 21st.
To register for graduate courses, please refer to the school/college that offers the graduate course(s) in which you are interested.
If you want to drop a course you have requested or have been registered for, you need to go back into your EagleApps Registration portal and self-Drop the course(s) to avoid incurring charges.
Important: submission of summer course registration requests indicates your intention to participate in the summer term and your acceptance of any tuition and fees incurred. For details on the refund policy, please visit Student Service Tuition and Refund page.
Students may not take summer courses Pass/Fail; BC students may not take courses for Audit.
Due to the workload required in the condensed summer class format, students are limited to enrolling in a maximum of 2 courses per session.
Once you have submitted your course requests, you will receive a confirmation of receipt as well as additional information and instructions from Boston College on how to access your Boston College student accounts in both the Agora Portal and in the new Eagle Apps system, including critical information about how to activate and monitor your BC email, since that will be the ONLY way BC will communicate with you after registration.
If you want to drop a course you have requested or have been registered for, please use the sign-up form to avoid incurring charges.
Tuition and relevant fees will be billed your student Agora financial account in mid-May. You will receive an email from Boston College at that time to your BC email address explaining how to pay for tuition and fees.
It is very important to activate and check the BC email regularly to be sure not to miss important updates.
Fully online courses are open to international students.
Boston College does not issue visas for international students to attend Summer Session courses on campus outside of their enrollment in a Boston College degree program.
Tuition and fees will be posted to your student account in mid-May and can be viewed and paid through the Agora portal. All fees and tuition charges are due and payable in full upon posting of charges/electronic invoice to the student's Agora account.
Students are responsible for the tuition for all courses for which they have registered.
New/Non BC Students
You will be notified via your BC email that your tuition invoice is available in your Agora account, at which time you may pay via e-check or credit card through the BC Agora portal.
Continuing Woods College Students
You will pay via the Agora portal as per the usual payment process.
Once courses begin, students have until 11:59 PM on the Monday of the second week to add or drop a course in EagleApps. Summer courses are not available for audit or pass/fail.

Agora Portal Access
Students must use the Agora Portal to access important resources such as the Canvas learning platform for course syllabi and assignments (if activated by your professor). It is also where student can view and pay tuition and fees*, access course schedules, classroom assignments and final grades, request official transcripts, and add funds to the Eagle One Card.
Visit the Agora Portal: Input your username and use the eight-digit Eagle ID number (both provided to you in your Welcome email) as your temporary password (no spaces, no dashes); you will then be prompted to create a new, permanent password.
Once in Agora, go to the "My Services" tab to activate your BC email account. At this point you will be required to create a secondary BC password, (which must be different from your Agora password).
*All Boston College students must access their bills and grades through Agora. No paper bills or grades are mailed. Summer Courses will appear on the student account in early april and tuition and fees will be applied in early May. Please be sure to check your BC email regularly for updates.
Eagle One Card
Your official Boston College ID card (optional) allows you access to facilities and services all over campus including computer labs, libraries, and the Recreational Complex. Open an Eagle-One account and you'll be able to make purchases at on-campus restaurants, vending & snack machines, bookstores, and at certain off-campus merchants. If you choose to get an Eagle-One card a $45  fee will be billed to your student account.

Parking on Campus
All students parking on Boston College campuses are required to have parking permits at all hours. All students must use the AGORA portal to obtain a permit and must display the decal on their windshield. Please contact the Office of Student Services (617-552-3300) with any questions, or visit the Transportation and Parking website for additional information.
The Woods College of Advancing Studies, the Lynch School of Education and Human Development, and the School of Theology and Ministry offer graduate-level courses throughout the summer. These courses are open to students not currently enrolled in a BC degree program. Woods College graduate courses in Summer Session 1 will be offered online. Summer 2 has yet to be determined. Please check back for updates. All Lynch School of Education and Human Development and School of Theology and Ministry summer courses will be offered online for both Summer 1 and Summer 2.
At the graduate level, the registration process is managed directly by each school. Tuition rates and financial aid opportunities are also specific to each graduate school.
If you are ready to begin a degree program this summer, these schools also allow applications to certain programs for a summer start.
