Non-credit Programs

Open to rising sophomores, juniors and seniors, these are short (two and three-week long) non-credit courses that provide students the opportunity to “try out" the full experience of living and studying on a college campus. This includes active participation in curricular and co-curricular activities, as well as learning how to manage time (both busy and free) on their own, without constant guidance.

The non-credit courses are taught in a seminar style by BC faculty. They are meant to provide students with an overview in the subject area of interest, including academic options and possible career paths. Daily attendance is taken and students’ full engagement is expected.

Faculty may supplement classroom learning with guest speakers, experiential learning activities, and subject-related field trips. The activities will depend upon the subject matter and the faculty member. Specifics can be found in the course syllabi that will be made available later in the spring.

Students will earn a Certificate of Completion for successful participation.
