Occasionally a person's email has been added to our database from several years ago, when someone else registered them for an event, or by accident. In that situation you may get this error message. If you think you may have registered for an event before but forgot, you can try and sign in under "Registered User." If that doesn't work, you can set up your account by resetting your password using the directions below.
If you are having trouble signing in, it may be frustrating to get advice like this, but the vast majority of the time it is because your email address or password have been misspelled.
If you are using a browser feature or other software to automatically fill this information in, you may need to delete what is automatically filled in and enter your email address and password by hand to make sure the spellings are correct.
This error message appears if the email address you entered isn't in the registration system. If the email is correct, this means you need to register as a new user as explained above.
This error message appears if the password doesn't match the email address. At first this message will have a delay timer instructing you to wait 10 seconds before trying again. If you get this message several times, you may want to reset your password as described below.
There are two ways to register for a course or on-campus event.
The registration schedule looks like this:
Click on the name of the course or event you want to register for in the left column. This will bring up the course description page.* Click "Register"
*This is the same place you would start if you linked to register from some particular courses and events.
If the event has an online option you may be prompted to indicate whether you will attend in person or online.
Click to select whether you plan to join the event in person or online. Then click "Next" to move on to the next step.
Follow the prompts to either sign in to your registration account, or proceed to the continuation screen, as appropriate. If you see the "Self identify with group" dropdown, do not use it unless we have corresponded with you about it beforehand, and you have received specific instructions. Just click "Next" to continue.
If there is a fee for your course or event:
On the Make Payment page, to pay now, click "Make Payment,"
This will lead you to the payment screen where you can enter your card payment information.
