Profile

Sarah Elizabeth Neville, MA, is a PhD Candidate at Boston College School of Social Work. Her research interests include global child welfare, with a particular focus on family reunification, foster care, family strengthening, and orphanages in the Global South, and adoption, especially intercountry adoption.

Prior to coming to Boston College, Sarah worked at Education Development Center, Inc., in the monitoring and evaluation and project management of USAID-funded education projects in Liberia and Nigeria. She has also studied and worked in China. Sarah holds her bachelors and masters degrees in child development from Tufts University.
