Sumayya Essack, MSW, MBA, LCSW, is a part-time faculty member at the Boston College School of Social Work. She is an alumna and completed her dual-degree MBA and MSW at the BC School of Social Work and the Carroll School of Management. Her professional experience spans immigration law, global human resources/talent management, and professional career coaching. She has a private career coaching practice and is an MBA Advisor to MBA students at MIT Sloan.
Previously, Sumayya was on the management team as the Head of Talent at Entrepreneurial Finance Lab, a Harvard-born global fintech startup, where she oversaw global human resources and managed a multi-million dollar budget.
