Patrick J. McCabe MBA, MSW, LICSW, is a part-time faculty member at the Boston College School of Social Work. He teaches Financial Management and Human Resource Development.
Patrick earned his BA in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts, his MSW from Boston College’s Graduate School of Social Work, and his MBA with a focus in Health Care Administration from Brandeis University’s Heller School for Social Policy and Management.
Patrick has been an administrator developing and overseeing programs for over 15 years for non-profits and hospitals. Early work included overseeing a homeless program for teenagers in Maine, developing an evaluation and treatment program for families of children with special needs in Rhode Island, and supporting the Massachusetts Behavioral Health Partnership's effort for implementing the Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative in Massachusetts.
Patrick has worked in various administrative roles at Boston Children’s Hospital, Westwood Lodge Psychiatric Hospital, and Women and Infant’s Hospital. Currently, Patrick is an Operations Manager for Emerson’s Physician Hospital Organization. He also has run a small private counseling practice and consulting business for the past two years.
Patrick is an active member of the Massachusetts chapter of the Membership and Advancement Committee for the Academic College of Healthcare Executives.
