Betty began her career as a professional educator as a teacher of English and humanities in secondary schools in Australia. In the years since she has followed her passion for teaching, learning and curriculum design across the world. She has lived and worked in Australia, Hungary and the US and undertaken a range of teaching and leadership roles in universities, most recently as Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic at La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia.
