Interdisciplinary Programs (IDPG)

The Lynch School of Education and Human Development takes a multifaceted view of education – one that is transformative and focused on the whole person. Interdisciplinary programs integrate the epistemological strengths of the Lynch School’s four academic departments to enhance the practice of our graduates and the outcomes of learners.

By leveraging faculty talent across the Lynch School and across Boston College, students benefit from a collaborative and expansive learning environment. Because these are interdisciplinary programs, each is able to blend teaching, administration, psychology, and assessment to keep pace with the future of education.
