Dear members of the BC Law community:

The Massachusetts Board of Bar Examiners is announcing this morning that it will not give an in-person bar exam and will administer a remote, non-Uniform Bar Exam (UBE) online exam instead. This remote exam will test the same subjects that are tested on the UBE. I know that the BBE is working with several other jurisdictions administering the same remote exam to explore reciprocity agreements and I expect that more news on that will follow shortly. The news from the BBE can be found here, which includes the reasons for their decision, an FAQ section, and contact information.

I am sure that many of our recent graduates will have questions and concerns about this announcement. We will follow up as we learn more. In the meantime, please reach out to Nina Farber, Director of Academic Success Programs, for assistance.

Sincerely,

Vincent Rougeau
