David and Pamela Donohue Assistant Professor
Atinuke (Tinu) Adediran is David and Pamela Donohue Assistant Professor of Business Law., where she teaches about the legal profession and civil procedure. An interdisciplinary empirical scholar, her research focuses on inequality in law and the legal profession, legal institutions—including the business and nonprofit sectors, access to justice, and corporate social responsibility.
Before joining the Boston College Law faculty, she was an Earl B. Dickerson and Lecturer in Law at the University of Chicago Law School where she taught a seminar on access to justice. She started her legal career as an associate in the Litigation Department of Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft in New York City where she focused her practice on securities, contractual disputes, and Alternative Dispute Resolution. She also had an active and successful pro bono practice.
She holds both a Ph.D. and MA in sociology from Northwestern University, and a J.D. from Columbia University School of Law, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.
