Jennifer Behr

Biography

Over the last fifteen years Jennifer S. Behr has developed keen legal insight as a litigator, a law school instructor, and a judicial clerk. As an associate at Foley Hoag LLP and Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman, Ms. Behr worked on complex civil and criminal matters, including several that went to trial. She also participated in her firms’ varied pro bono work. After leaving law practice, Ms. Behr taught legal writing at Boston University Law School’s LLM program. She then served as a law clerk to the Honorable M. Page Kelley, United States Magistrate Judge for the District of Massachusetts. Ms. Behr returned to Boston University Law School post-clerkship to teach Lawyering Skills and legal writing to JD and LLM students. Ms. Behr received her J.D. from Yale Law School, where she was a managing editor of the Yale Journal of International Law, and her B.A., summa cum laude, from Northwestern University.
