Britt Frisk Pados, Ph.D., RN, NNP-BC, CLC, FAHA, FNAP, is an assistant professor at the Connell School of Nursing. She is a certified neonatal nurse practitioner, lactation counselor, and trauma-informed professional. Her research focuses on feeding difficulty in infants and young children with medical complexity, particularly those born preterm and with congenital heart disease.
Dr. Pados has worked as a neonatal nurse practitioner in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital of New York Presbyterian at Columbia University Medical Center as well as a registered nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
Dr. Pados is a member of the Alpha Chi and Alpha Alpha chapters of Sigma Theta Tau. She has numerous honors for her leadership, research, and scholarship and is a Fellow of the American Heart Association and National Academies of Practice.
