Advanced Practice Nursing Specialties

Advanced practice nursing is one of the most in-demand professions: The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects the field to grow 31 percent by 2024. In some regions, advanced practice nurses help address a shortage of primary care physicians by providing care to patients, from evaluations to ongoing management and preventive services.

Our DNP students select from six advanced practice specialties that prepare them for certification as NPs or CRNAs. Each specialty features focused courses and clinical placements, helping students discover their professional passions, choose their ideal career path, and excel in their practice.
