Biography

Doris Kelly is a Certified Public Accountant with more than 30 years of corporate experience coupled with 9 years of teaching financial and managerial accounting fulltime at Bentley University. In addition to teaching and advising students, she also served as a board member for the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) – Boston Chapter and continues to be actively involved with the profession by serving as an advising CFO for small companies. Her goal as an instructor is to use her real world experiences to help students understand accounting concepts and apply them in a real world setting. She is the author of an accounting project that won an innovation in teaching award for its experiential (real world) learning.
