Hannah Chapdelaine is a senior studying biology, minoring in GPHCG. She is interested in women's health initiatives and the ways in which we can use an intersectional approach to improve health outcomes. One of her favorite courses she has taken through the GPHCG program is the Global Health Perspectives course where she spent a summer abroad in Ecuador, studying public health and healthcare access in rural settings. On campus, she is a tour guide, student health coach, and Bystander Intervention trainer. Currently, she is working on the Communities for Healthy Living research study, which examines the effects of parental empowerment on child health behaviors in low-income families.
