The Boston College Interdisciplinary Research Buildings Workshop, hosted by the Schiller Institute for Integrated Science and Society and the Office of the Vice Provost for Research, explores best practices for academic buildings devoted to interdisciplinary research. Motivated by the upcoming January 2022 opening of the building for the interdisciplinary Schiller Institute on the Boston College campus, this workshop brings together university leaders from institutions across the country to discuss the opportunities and challenges inherent in designing and operating interdisciplinary research buildings.
