Carolina Battle

Student Ambassador


Carolina Battle is a senior majoring in Applied Psychology and Human Development and minoring in Global Public Health and the Common Good. She was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico and is fluent in both English and Spanish. At BC, she has been involved with several entities such as Project Sunshine, a volunteer led program that brings joy to pediatric patients, MEDLIFE, dedicated to providing access to medicine, education and care to low-income families, and currently works at the Margot Recreation Center as a personal trainer. During her sophomore year, she was a Student Volunteer at the Newton-Wellesley Hospital in the surgical unit. Carolina is also a member of BC’s Student Health Advisory Board, SHAB, and is very involved in student wellness efforts. She was first introduced to public health with the “Public Health in a Global Society” course and is currently following a pre-health track and will pursue a medical degree after graduation.
