C21 Living Lent

C21 Living Lent

Prayer is powerful! We would like to invite our Boston College Alumni family and C21 Center community to Pray It Forward, a little time together each week during Lent to reflect and recharge.

Join us Wednesdays from 4:00-4:15pm (ET) on Zoom for a brief time-out to pray — reading the day's Gospel, listening to a brief reflection, offering prayer intentions, and sharing a group prayer relevant to the week. All are welcome!

You're invited to join us for one or more of our virtual Faith Feeds conversations on Zoom on Fridays from 1:00-2:00pm (ET) during Lent.
The Faith Feeds program is designed for individuals who are hungry for opportunities to talk about their faith with others who share it. A host will facilitate a small group conversation on a theme using articles from the C21 Center's bi-annual magazine, C21 Resources.

Can't make it? Download guides and host your own Faith Feeds conversation at home.

For this Lenten season 2024, we invite you to participate in a three-part series hosted by Prof. Thomas Groome with readings from Tom’s book, Faith for the Heart: A “Catholic” Spirituality (Paulist Press, 2019).

Through conversation with inspiring individuals, C21's Lenten GodPods explore the many ways we can find God in our everyday lives.

Explore themes of hope, mercy, reflection, and more in this collection of episodes. Interested in more episodes? Look through the rest of our GodPods anywhere you listen to podcasts!

Join our Lenten pilgrim community by registering, and we will match you with three other "pilgrims" to form a Pilgrim Pod. You can decide when and how often to meet online and what activities you would like to do together. We can provide digital Lenten resources as a catalyst for conversation, but you can also choose to just pray together or talk.

Sharing our faith with others and meeting new friends can be a meaningful experience during this Lenten season.

Are you looking for a unique and engaging way to capture a child's faith imagination this Lent?

Visit the Drawing God website to download fun Lenten placemats and Ash Wednesday portrait templates. Additionally, download the Drawing God Stations of the Cross Kit below, which uses the Drawing God picture book as a touchstone to offer children a gentle understanding of each Station, coupled with printable picture frames for drawing. Perfect for home or classroom use in schools and parishes. Enjoy!

Each week during Lent, the Boston College Alumni Association will share Gospel reflections from Burt Howell, the executive director of Intersections and the Center for Ignatian Spirituality at Boston College, and Victoria Garcia, MA ’18, the assistant director of Intersections at Boston College.

Join the Boston College community on the Heights, Sunday, March 10 at 9:30am for the celebration of the 73rd annual Laetare Sunday Mass and Brunch. Each year we gather to pray and join in reflection as a BC community through this cherished tradition celebrating the midpoint of the Lenten season.

Growing God, the sequel to Drawing God, is set to release this Holy Week on March 26, 2024. You can pre-order Growing God now and learn how Emma continues to foster her love and understanding of God.
