Advice to veterans interested in BC?
Apply! BC is a great school for Veterans, don't hesitate to reach out either Mike Lorenz or Jeff Gallant for advice and help. They made the admissions process incredibly easy. Don't be scared by the academic work load, you did harder things than writing a paper while you served, you can do this too. Also don't be scared by an age difference between you and the other students. I had a full 20 year career and I came here to finish my undergraduate degree. BC is a veteran friendly school and I'm proud and honored to attend.

If you are set on applying to BC, learn what is required of you to achieve successful admission at BC. For both of these matters, the following are key resources to help you reach "admission accomplished" at BC: Service to School and Jeff Gallant. Regarding Service to School, apply to be mentored by an S2S Ambassador who will assist you in your application process and more. Regarding Jeff Gallant, try to get in contact with him so that you can learn what the general norm of successful applicants is and more. Also, to learn about the resources BC has to offer for veterans, try to contact Michael Lorenz, for he can help you picture your life as a veteran at BC. Advice to veterans interested in BC?:
Boston College is an incredible school with a lot of support for veterans. The veteran community is active, with regular events and tailgates for football games. Being located right outside of Boston is also great as a slightly older veteran coming in. You get the tight-knit, beautiful campus while still having access to a full city. I also love the mountains and being outdoors, and it’s a quick ride north to Vermont and New Hampshire. The finance program is top-notch, and the opportunities for internships and jobs after graduation are huge.
