Moderator: Jack Dunn is the Associate Vice President for University Communications and University Spokesperson. Before assuming his current role in 2016, Jack served as News & Public Affairs director and University spokesman at Boston College for 18 years. Dunn brings experience from both sides of the public relations table, having worked as a journalist and as a spokesperson for several Catholic institutions, including Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Boston.

Panelist: John Allen is the editor of Crux, “a news site dedicated to offering the very best in smart, wired and independent coverage of the Vatican and the Catholic Church.”  John has written eleven books on the Vatican and Catholic affairs and his writing has appeared in The Boston Globe, The New York Times, NPR, and The Tablet among other publications. He is a senior Vatican analyst for CNN and was a correspondent for the National Catholic Reporter for 16 years.

Panelist: Matt Malone, S.J. is the President and Editor-in-Chief of America Media, “the leading provider of editorial content for thinking Catholics and those who want to know what Catholics are thinking.” America produces news and content on many multimedia platforms. Its flagship magazine, America, has been published since 1909 by the Jesuits of the United States. Fr. Malone entered the Society of Jesus in 2002 and was ordained a priest in 2012. He served as the associate editor of America before assuming his current position.
