An Ethical Summons to Tackle Climate Change

From September 28th to October 1st, Boston College hosted an interdisciplinary conference exploring the implications of Pope Francis' recent encyclical on the environment and climate change. 

Speakers included prominent members of the community directly addressing climate change, including Cardinal Peter Turkson, Massachusetts senator Ed Markey, and Jon Holdren, Assistant to the President of the United States for Science and Technology.

Cardinal Peter Kodwo Appiah Turkson, Archibishop emeritus of Cape Coast and President of the Pontificial Council for Justice and Peace, spoke in Boston College's Robsham Theather on September 28th, 2015.
