Summer in Dublin
Saturday 2nd June-Sunday 29th July 2018
The Dublin Internship program is now entering its 13th year, and continues to be highly competitive. The two-month program offers students practical, international work experience with opportunities for personal exploration and professional connections.
Boston College interns are placed throughout Dublin’s diverse fields of employment. Selected applicants will work 35-40 hours per week at unpaid internships. Students are encouraged to tailor their applications to interests that are within the broad fields of government, business, and arts. This will also assist in the selection of a well-matched placement by the Program Manager.
Successful candidates will be those who are clear about their interests and goals and, because places are limited, early expressions of interest and applications are strongly encouraged. There are no placements in hospitals or laboratories of any kind.
Please note that applicants are required to have at least completed their sophomore year in 2017/2018.
Students will live in apartments on a local university campus in Dublin, and will also have a rich social and cultural program, with designated time for personal travel.
Applications can be made through the Office of International Programs website. Please contact Ms. Sara Brown, OIP Program Manager on firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone on 617-552-3827 to schedule an informational or advising appointment.
