Leadership Seminars

The Certificate in Jesuit Studies welcomes the leaders of Jesuit institutions and governing bodies to lead weekly seminars on important themes related to the variety of works conducted at apostolates.

Both in Europe and during the coursework at Boston College, the Certificate in Jesuit Studies programs offers unique opportunities for participants to engage with distinguished leaders at a diversity of Jesuit works. Presentations, discussions, and informal meals provide points of reflection upon the spiritual and historical subject matter considered during the program. These occasions also expose the program’s participants to different strategies for leadership.

But presenters also take something important from the experiences with the participants, who, as a group, have immersed themselves in the historical and spiritual heritage of the Society of Jesus.

Presenters engaging with the participants in the Certificate in Jesuit Studies program during the summer of 2017 include:
