Stay in touch via social media, or meet fellow alumni and current students through events in Greater Boston and around the country. We’re dedicated to fostering lasting relationships that endure long after you graduate by offering an array of programming and resources.
The BCSSW Alumni Board invites you to sign up for the fall 2019 to summer 2020 Mentoring Program. The program offers a great opportunity for recent graduates to learn from those with more experience and experienced graduates to share their valuable perspectives and stay connected to the University.
Who Should Participate
Mentors: Alumni who have graduated in 2014 or before.
Mentees: Alumni who have graduated in the years 2015 to 2018.
What’s Expected from Mentors
We suggest a minimum of quarterly phone, teleconference, or e-mail communications between mentor and mentee, and find that many pairs communicate informally through texts and e-mails in-between scheduled communications as needed.
In addition, the BCSSW Mentoring Program coordinators provide quarterly articles on timely topics such as mentoring relationship goals, leadership and teamwork, work-life balance, workplace challenges, and career goals. While we supply a suggested agenda for the calls, there is flexibility to use the time however the mentee/mentor choose. We are also available as a resource for mentors as questions arise.

Alumni across the globe are invited to participate as interviewers in the Mock Interviewing Program, April 10–12, 2019. Mock Interviews take place in person, over the phone, or via Skype so soon-to-be graduates can practice their interviewing skills.
