Profile

Jenese Brownhill, MSW, LICSW is a part-time faculty instructor at Boston College School of Social Work. She received her master’s in Social Work from Boston College. Jenese’s strong interest in program management and work force development led to her completion of a certificate in Nonprofit Management and Leadership at the Institute of Nonprofit Practice/ Tufts University Tish School of Civic Life. Her professional interests include working with at-risk urban youth and families in community- based settings, treatment of anxiety, depression and trauma, clinical consultation and quality management. She also specializes in providing individual therapy to adult who have significant substance use history and work related stress in her private practice. Jenese is passionate about the expansion of community based interventions and services and work to empower her students to identify new ways that they can promote social justice and equality. Jenese has a strong interest in cultural appreciation and welcomes all expressions and celebrations of diversity and culture in her classroom
