The Graduate School of the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences' ceremony will take place in Robsham Theater after the main University-wide Commencement ceremony. Our starting time is, therefore, dependent on when the main ceremony ends. We hope to begin around 12:00 noon.
Those attending the main ceremony should follow these insructions for assembling before the ceremony. For those not attending the main ceremony, we recommend arriving at Robsham Theater by 11:30 a.m.
Please fill out and submit the Commencement Reply form by May 17th. No tickets are required for the GSAS degree-granting ceremony. Friends and family are welcome.
Commencement guides and electronic invitations will be available in March/April. and you will be notified via e-mail.
The Donald J. White Teaching Excellence Awards program was established to underscore and reinforce the importance of the pursuit of teaching excellence of graduate Teaching Fellows and Teaching Assistants.
The two types of awards are:
Awards are for graduate students who have taught undergraduate classes with full responsibility for presenting the course and grading the course participants.
Awards are for students who have assisted in laboratories in the sciences and for those students in other disciplines who assist in teaching by leading discussion groups.
