Special Programs
The Theatre Department is a community of students, faculty, and staff who are committed to theatre education that combines scholarship and art. As part of this scholarship, the department welcomes guest professors and lecturers, and provides grant and funding opportunities for students.
The Rev. J. Donald Monan, S.J. Professorship in Theatre Arts is an endowed professorship that brings regionally and nationally renowned theatre artists to work and teach at Boston College on an annual basis.
The DeVoy Perspectives on Theatre Series brings leading professionals and major creative forces in theatre and the performing arts to Boston College on an annual basis.
The DeVoy Springboard Grant is intended to support travel-study programs, internships, and field work for Theatre Department Majors or Minors.
