Profile

Theresa Lang is a teacher, director, and dramaturg. As an historian and practitioner, she is particularly interested in the development of experimental work and under-represented voices.

Theresa is the dramaturg of Come on Over Ensemble Theatre and is the author of Essential Dramaturgy: A Mindset and Skillset. She is on faculty at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, is the Chair of Dramaturgy and Coordinator of the Devised Initiative for Region 1 of the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, and was the Associate Director of the inaugural New Play Dramaturgy Intensive at the Kennedy Center.
