RESEARCH INTERESTS:

Isaiah studies the cultural and political history of modern Europe. He focuses on the interplay between state-building and everyday life during the last years of the nineteenth century and the first third of the twentieth. He is especially interested in childhood and child-rearing, the home, and political allegiance.
