The Art department offers summer courses through the Woods College of Advancing Studies. Summer 2017 courses include Film Studies, Drawing, Art History, and Digital Design. There are two sessions, the first starting the week of May 15, and the second the last week in June (ending in early August). Courses are open to non-Woods College students, who should follow this process to register.
Summer courses taken through the Woods College are eligible to fulfill University Core requirements if their academic-year equivalents do so. Core-eligible courses for Fall and Spring semesters are listed on the University’s Core Courses web page, and these courses are also identified as "Core" in the University's Course Information and Schedule.
The Department also offers summer courses abroad.
