An enterprising professional development experience for Catholic school leaders,

creating change and improving schools together

The Emmaus Leadership Series is a transformative leadership development program offered by the Roche Center for Catholic Education at Boston College. The Series serves Catholic school presidents, principals, and heads of school to strengthen them for the demands of leadership in education today. Participants benefit from the utilization of the National Standards and Benchmarks for Effective Catholic Elementary and Secondary Schools and key partnerships within Boston College’s Lynch School of Education and Human Development, the School of Theology and Ministry, and the Carroll School of Management. The Emmaus Leadership Series is designed for busy school leaders, featuring a blended model for program participation including: 3 overnight retreats, 8 webinars, and 8 one-day workshops (offered both in-person and online) over a 20-month period.

Since 2012, the Emmaus Leadership Series continues to connect:

25 States
School Leaders

The Emmaus Series has been among the highlights of my tenure as principal. Whether it’s the opportunity to learn from fellow Catholic administrators, or the wide range of remarkably relevant and useful sessions, or their strong focus on the National Standards and Benchmarks, the program offers “the whole package.” I cannot urge you enough to take advantage of this outstanding group of mentors, professors and, yes, friends.
