Taylor Stewart is a third-year doctoral student in the Counseling Psychology program. She received her B.A. in Psychology and B.A. in English from Wellesley College. She received her Master of Divinity from Harvard Divinity School, concentrating in spiritual counseling and the intersections of religion and psychology.
Taylor joined the ISPRC team in the Fall of 2018. Taylor’s research interests lie at the intersections of race, spirituality, and psychology, placing a particular emphasis on multicultural competency given the increasing diversity present within community, organizational, and educational settings. Taylor’s research explores the impact of spiritual/religious coping on psychological wellbeing and resilience, and practical methods that mental health providers can use when exploring client’s religiosity and spirituality.
In her free time, Taylor enjoys making tea, reading, writing, listening to podcasts, and watching documentaries.
