Stephanie Paulk is a fourth-year doctoral candidate in the Counseling Psychology program at Boston College. She received her MA in Mental Health Counseling from Boston College and her MA in Applied Sport Psychology at John F. Kennedy University. In her graduate study, she had the opportunity to work as an advocate at the Jeremiah Burke High School through the ISPRC. She is a graduate affiliate of the American Psychological Association, Division 17 (Counseling Psychology).
Stephanie joined the ISPRC team in the fall of 2013. Her current research interests include training counselors to be racially and culturally responsive as well as evaluating culturally responsive mental healthcare systems.
Stephanie’s counseling experiences includes individual, family, couples, and group psychotherapy in a variety of settings including community mental health, college counseling centers, schools, and hospitals. In addition, she enjoys supervising masters students in the Mental Health Counseling Program here at Boston College over the last three years.
