Ammy Sena is a masters student in the Mental Health Counseling program at Boston College. She received her BA & BS in Psychology and Latin America and Caribbean Studies from Suffolk University. She is a Graduate Education Diversity Internship (GEDI) alum with the American Evaluation Association.
Ammy joined the ISPRC team in the Spring of 2016. Her current research interests includes racial and ethnic identity development of Latino children, youth and young adults. Other areas of interest include mental health practices, treatment, assessment and program evaluation amongst the Latino community and other minoritized groups.
Ammy's clinical experience includes working with children and adolescents with severe OCD and anxiety disorders, children with trauma in inpatient settings and college counseling. Ammy is currently a part time Intercultural Counselor at Bryant University.
In her free time Ammy surrounds herself with the company of extended family and friends.
