Message from the Director

Director Don Ricciato

Welcome to The Boston College Campus School, where the students are the stars. We are a private, publicly funded, special education, day school operates on the Boston College campus within the Lynch School of Education.

For more than four decades, we have provided education, support and services to students aged 3–21 who face complex challenges. Our students may possess physical, cognitive, or sensory limitations; lack functional speech; or have unique educational, therapeutic, or health care needs. We respond to each student’s needs with our transdisciplinary approach: Educators, specialists and medical professionals all work together, collaborating to provide a student-centered experience.

Students enjoy age-appropriate classes with certified special-education teachers, teaching assistants and responsive curricula. Our expert support staff implements an integrated delivery model, providing services throughout the day. And our university setting means our students have access to Boston College resources, including volunteers, libraries and recreational facilities.

With our comprehensive approach, cutting-edge research and evidence-based practices, The Campus School provides a special kind of special education.

Thank you for visiting our website. You can read more about our students, curriculum, support services or the research we conduct on campus. Please contact us if you have any questions.
